Miguel began his career as a graphic designer in Montreal before becoming Digital Art Director at DTK Media a fashion & luxury publishing house in 2013. There, he worked with global brands such as Sony Music, Lacoste, Audi, and Hugo Boss, delivering editorial productions, creative strategy, native advertising, and 360° marketing campaigns. His work also included large-scale events for the Thomson Hotel and the Ivanhoé Cambridge Group.
Through DTK’s creative agency, Miguel collaborated with ebbu, a pioneer in the cannabis industry, developing branding strategies for the launch of their first consumer vape product helping them position the company pre-acquisition by Canopy Growth.
Following DTK, Miguel transitioned into a remote role as Creative Director at Kashu, a boutique agency specializing in commercial animation. Over six years, he established creative strategies, production pipelines, and design methodologies that fueled campaigns and content for hundreds of clients, including Veolia, eBay, Engie, Polygon, and Yale University. His leadership produced hundreds of animated shorts, generating widespread visibility and views across global campaigns.
In 2022, working under the pseudonym Delsol, Miguel became Lead Artist and Creative Director at Delsol Studio. He collaborated with developers to launch SWARMS, a 10,000-piece sold-out collection on the Avalanche network. Recognized as the first evolutive art collection in Web3, the project blended fine art with blockchain mechanics, resulting in high-value auction sales and showcases at Google Austin and the Avalanche Summit in Buenos Aires. Beyond SWARMS, Miguel expanded the ecosystem through AR works, murals, and collaborations with leading players in the space, establishing himself as an early innovator in digital art.
Through Delsol Studio, Miguel also consulted with brands such as clicknpark, where he consolidated their branding strategy into a scalable design system deployed across digital and physical assets nationwide.
In 2024, he joined Jungle as partner and Product Designer, spearheading a product rebrand that significantly scaled retail sales and distribution. His work repositioned Jungle within a market shifting toward local consumption, driving B2B partnerships with leaders in hospitality and earning features in Elle Canada and Elle Québec.
Miguel has also curated and produced original digital content, including work for Instagram page @PsychedelicThinker, which has surpassed one million followers and achieved 10+ millions of cumulative views.
As a consultant, Miguel specializes in bridging cultural relevance with brand strategy, ensuring clients resonate authentically across markets. His work has consistently generated high brand awareness, international recognition, and millions of dollars in sales.
His art was also the subject of a short documentary by creative agency Reps label in 2024. Seen below
